Meaningless Miserable Monday

I am always looking forward for Mondays as my weekends are usually as terrible as ever. Although there's only 2hours of college, it means lots to me just to go there. Well, woke up considerably late n have a rainy morning almost putting back to sleep. After having my daily dose of Nescafe, i set off through the 'getting-heavier' rain to my college.
The 2hours of lecture was as promising, boring. I was to sit in the freezing lecturer hall drawing while listening to my lecturer bragging on the topic about catering. His lecture seems to take longer then usual but it doesn't matter, in few minutes time, i wud be outside the hall discussing with my frens what we wanna do later. And so we did. There wasn't much things we cud do as it was still raining so i open my lil casino at the cafeteria. After countless rounds of 'Cho Dai Di", i, brian and ed decide to go Curve.
We went to Popular to get Brian's materials for his menu card. After that, we kinda did some window-shopping before going for lunch at Ikea. We had a simple lunch of hot dogs, curry-puff n ice-cream, not forgetting the unlimited amount of soft drinks n coffee we had. We then slowly drag ourselves to Cineleisure where we played pool. It wasn't Ed's day, losing 4 games, we decided to leave. "Next time Ed, Next time".
We return to college round 4+, where we wanted to play basketball but failed due to the lack of players and the 'haven't dried up' courts. So we went Blitzone where i wasted 6 dollar getting myself killed in CS over n over n over again. Occasionally managed to kill one or two fellas with a miniature handgun.
Worried I may not be able to get back home in time for dinner, i stopped CS at 7 and started my journey back home, on foot. It was only a 25mins walk where i glance at passing cars while walking, at the same time, thinking.
My thinking was halt as i reached the front gate and my mind was brought back to earth, wandering whats for dinner.

1st week back...

Yes la... 2nd sem started with a blast...able to see my fellow classmate was wonderful, new looks old looks, plus with the merging with the erm... weird DIP-10 students, i could see its gonna be a interesting sem.
But we didnt have much classes with them. Instead, our own group DIP-1 was divided into 3 sad group for F&B lessons. Yes, i did complain at 1st, of how i wish i was in other groups. But i told myself, no use complaining n having black face all sem. I must adapt. I must strategize.
Lately, the lessons are jus boring introductions. But yet, I'm nervous as the real practical lessons reach nearer, its gonna be hard and challenging, but thats what makes it interesting. For now, jus get to know the lecturers. Observe their methods of teaching, their temper and humor as well..and also making sure that they noe me, Eric, without pausing to think.
With a week for a start, i predict the future is yet to be worst, as we oledi have a few assignment given to us. But theres not enough room for sloth, as most of me is filled with greed n envy which are driving me towards my goals, scoring beautifully in the academic studies and maintaining or yet better improving my position in class.
I also have some other goals which ain't minor but kinda important to me, that is to expand my network of frens. So far doing good, having a different members in group works is a start. So now, I've jus nid to proceed to plan B, hide my weaknesses and watch my strength blossom before me and others.

Wasted

For those who still haven't watch this movie, i strongly suggest u either watch once in a cinema or never at all. It would be a great lose, especially for those who read the book. For those who haven't read, well, maybe u still can. For the movie is totally different then the book and nearly 75% of it is either cut or twisted..here are a few missing events/things i was looking forward:
-Quidditch
-Harry and Cho in Hogsmeade
-Professor Grubbly-Plank and BOwtruckles
-Ordinary Wizarding Levels' Test
-St Mungo's Hospital
-Grimmauld Place and Sirius's mom
-Department of Mysteries

However, there were a few good scenes as well. The effects of the Patronus Charm and the fireworks are great. And the fight that take place in the department of mysteries. Well, Umbridge is great... the scene where she slapped Harry was awesome. But overall, the movie is oni 3 out of 10. It sucks..

Ennui

Two weeks of semester holiday is a killer. Desperately trying to save myself from being swallowed by the massive leisure time i have, i only got away with 4 days. Trying to sleep my day away, i woke up at noon. Trying to go out of the house, it rains. So i was to stay at home, with two best fren, the com and the Ps2. But then, i got fed up on the third day with watching episodes of bleach non-stop and countless NFS carbon races. Seeing other ppl's unchanged blog and the bloody annoying MSN popping up, doing nothing beneficial and only stuffing down chips and sneks and staring point-blank at the com, rotting and increasing my eye power. swt. With many classmates all balik kampung and some working, it's impossible to even have a simple tea session with them. But it doesn't really matter, inside, the other me is jus waiting pleasantly for my more fascinating, more thought-provoking and more interesting, new semester. I can't wait(Evil grin).

Finals

My 1st and dreadful semesterhas come to an end, well, the first i saw when i came to college is, without a mistake, people studying... 30mins before exam, still studying... Me?Playing cards in the library ^^. Well, i did some studies along with a couple of frens. This is how my finals looks like... it ain't hard, just tough...hehe

Having a camera phone is now like the 1st item i wud really nid to get... Or else this blog wud be filled with nothing but words. Anyways Behind this door, is the place where i'm suppose to study for my final. But mostly i'll be inside shuffling a deck, dealing cards and playing "Cho Tai Di".
